West Brom - 60m

According to the daily fail

We must be worth double with no debt, better infrastructure & more value in the playing squad?
We went for £40m as a league 1 club with no resale value in our squad at all (albeit we were due parachute payments). We're now a settled championship club with a playing squad valued at £100m+. We'd sell for £150m plus imo, maybe more

Its stupid buying clubs like West Brom, Southampton, Leeds, Sunderland, Shef Utd, Norwich etc while they are at the top of their value. Which is what the current West Brom owner did.

All of them are historically proven to not properly establish themselves in the top division so its almost a given they will go down with relegation wiping of at least 50% off the value.

Better to buy one is distress and build it back up.

We had been in the Prem for 9 consecutive years when Lai bought us.

I must have been in a coma when we won the Premier League and Champions League.

Apart from the 6 times we won the league we have never proved ourselves in the top division. Rightio.
