We have massively underestimated The Championship

I just can't see it getting any better. You'd have expected him to have managed to get the basics right by now, he hasn't and we're not getting enough attempts on goal to win games.

absolutely true,it's been a bit of an eye opener to be honest, getting overrun by teams who really aren't that good but who are prepared to put the hard yards in,hopefully it'll settle down but i'm not really convinced it will

the chimpionship is a piece of piss

i read it on here.....last season

*Moyes.

Speak for yourself.

I think the players we have are decent enough at this level but I'm not convinced 4-4-2 is the best way to play them.
Not after 3 league games they weren't.... Draws with Derby and Sheff Wed and a good win at Carrow Road and it was back to the usual 'pub league' shite... Couple of games later you're getting bummed 3-0 at Barnsley of all places!

I don't think it was a case of underestimating the championship, it is a terrible league, it was a case of overestimating our players and manager.

Biggest mistake was not purchasing a consistent goal scorer at this level, fair enough cost cutting but we scrimped on the position that will actually win us games.
This. Couldn't agree more. A unbelievable major error by the club. Hard to believe the people running our club couldn't see we needed to bring a striker in. Part of the reason why we're in the mess we're in.

Short needs to come out and tell the fans what is going on, he doesn't want to put anymore money in well he needs to tell the fans why he hasn't sold the club on or if there was ever a buyer in the first place.

There is little money in the Championship, I still don't understand why he would spend nothing and risk going further into oblivion, it's in his interests as well to be where the money is, in the Prem. He is only going to lose more money dropping down the league again, he'll have nothing to cover debts and will ultimately pay out of his own pocket anyway unless the rumours are right that it will go into administration, it wouldn't surprise me like.

It's the fans who will suffer, he will walk away with a loss possibly but the club will take years to get anywhere near it was while he will most likely make his money up in a year or 2. If he had the club at heart and cared about the fans he would come out and tell us what the hell is going on.

I think the majority of us knew the task was very tough. Certainly I, having followed the Championship every week ever since we last went up knew the standard has never been higher. There's a lot of clubs competing for promotion, teams who are better equipped for the race than us.

If I'm being honest the season has went pretty much how I expected. I don't anticipate we'll go down I think we'll finish just below mid table and our last few matches will be dead rubbers. Even though we look really piss poor at home on Saturday, I'd still expect us to win enough to keep us away from the bottom of the table.

I think playing in front of a hostile SOL is a burden to the players at the moment and I'd expect us to do better away from home. Away from home allows them a bit more freedom and less pressure.

We'll be okay - Bookmark this if you want.

I'm already hoping next season is where we'll kick on and try and do better. We could end up in this league for a very long time, we can either feel sorry for ourselves and risk a total disaster (relegation trouble) or adapt to the league and try and sort ourselves out.

I didn't given having seen us in this division plenty of times before, new it was going to take 2 years at best to get back up, but now that maybe 3 years

We needed a dedicated player to put the small round thing into the inside back of the large rectangle thing. We didn't get one, so we are fuckeroonied.

Like Barnsley? Even Norwich battered us, that was the fluke result of the season. Make no mistake we are in a for a relegation ba...in fact I'm not even going to say battle because that indicates a team willing to fight.
