Watmore out for the season?

Just because it’s not his knee doesn’t mean he’s not a crock. Can’t pay a player who’s going to play a handful of games a season and be ineffective in most of them. Look at the likes of Kirchhoff and Mensah. Good players. Always injured. Can’t carry them
A crock is someone like Darren Anderton, with a history of recurring injuries of the same type. Watmore's current injury was caused by a foul, simple as that. Much as you'd like to see him retired, for reasons best known only to yourself, this injury has absolutely nothing to do with his cruciate.

That tackle would have put anyone out for this season

Gutted for the lad, loved his celebration when he scored and that could be a big point for us

He still has a future here, so annoyed that that fucking thug will get no other action

People calling Ainsworth a nice guy etc, bollocks, he sent his team out to kick and cheat and it ended up costing one of our players his season and a wembley appearance

Hope to see the lad pull a Sunderland shirt on again.

Good luck to him whatever happens,
If only every player had his attitude.

Don’t want him retired I’m just saying he’s no good and never fit. Waste of money

We caught up with former FA Chief Executive - and father of Duncan - Ian Watmore to find out how the injured Sunderland forward is coping following the season-ending ankle injury he sustained after a horrendous tackle from Wycombe clogger Marcus Bean. RR: The initial reports said that Duncan would be out for 8-12 weeks. Is he on track, and how far...

Such a lazy thing to say , Darren Anderton the guy who played 563 first team matches, then 30 times for England??
