Visiting a dog owners house etiquette

Don’t have anything against dogs but I hate it when the in-laws bring theirs to our house. I don’t want dog hair all over or I’d get one. Mentioned it before and they still proceed. Going to stop answering the door

I hate this type of dog person. I don’t mind dogs but haway when they forcing them on you it’s a bit much. Especially when they are grinning like a Cheshire Cat going “awww look at him on the sofa, aww look at him digging at the borders, awww look at him chewing the table, awww look at him pissing against the kitchen unit”
