Think those who have taken it on are very well connected. Think there will be some media coverage over the coming days and weeks.
Just tweeted it to Tranmere Rovers, see if any of their fans want to get involved. Obviously it's going to Wearside based charities but their fans might want to help out anyway, and especially might like the idea of getting one of the commemorative tickets

Sky Blues Talk have done a similar yearly fundraising campaign to buy season tickets for those disadvantaged or going through a hard spell.
I know fans of both clubs have had their moments, but it's our passion and love of our clubs which is a common theme and it's great that things like this can bring us a little closer together.
Look forward to locking horns next season when you are promoted and hopefully we have just enough to avoid relegation.

Feedback is that gift aid only applies to the donation element of the fundraising. The ticket elements have a perceived value in terms of what people are paying for what they are receiving in return and hence gift aid can't be claimed on those elements.
