I always thought that was too simple and unfair a judgement.Only thing got my goat with RLB was when we went into at least a one goal lead if not two
He’d sit back & defend rather than gan for the jugular
But never wanted him out

I remember a lot of games we had chances to put teams to bed and didn't take them. That naturally led to some nervy finishes.
We lacked a bit of depth and experience, and that spate of late goals conceded got into our heads a bit.
I don't think it was ever really a fault of Le Bris' gameplan. If anything, he tried to counter it as best he could with what was available.
The best form of defence is not attack. Never has been. And we were an easy team to counter against. Sometimes you just have to try and see a game out.
We finished 4th and won the play-offs. I think he's vindicated.
