Yo yo? They've been relegated once in the last 25 yearsTheir record is so similar to ours. Won the top league and FA cup loads of times before WW1. One cup and one league within living memory. Can't deny a fantastic year in '81/2, and a couple of league cups way back then, but apart from that they have been a yo-yo club for the last quarter century.

They are. Look at number of trophies (maybe not fairest way as some prestigious than others but Villa still won the lot):

That list makes mags look better as a lot of theirs are cups not leagues but Villa still way ahead. They've won at least twice as many trophies as all the other clubs you mentioned.

They probably are the biggest to have played in second tier since Spurs in 78. Chelsea maybe in the 80s
