They probably are the biggest to have played in second tier since Spurs in 78. Chelsea maybe in the 80s

Chelsea in the 80's were a nothing club. When compared with Chelsea in those days i would raise you Leeds, Newcastle & Sunderland.

Granted that's why I said maybe. Regardless Villa are a bigger club than Leeds, Sunderland and you lot
