I remember Foster and Law having some decent games, I think Foster in particular was ravaged by injuries, although in the main the good performances were few and far between from each!

James Boiling was a lovely bloke..

He was a lovely bloke just not a very good spinner...mind you arguably the best gully we ever had.

Michael Richardson straight away, didn't get the praise he deserved especially in the 50 over game.
Still don't understand why he gave up the gloves in any form of the game.I have heard differing reasons but as as a wicket keeper batsmen he was a very competent and valuable county cricketer. As a specialist batsmen I always thought he was in that large group of batsmen Durham have had over the years who wouldn't score enough runs to cement s regular first team place.

24 is perfectly fine for Pringle. I think Richardson at 4 day cricket batted all over the place but mostly around number 6. Again I stand by that his average is fine.
How is 24 fine how low does an average have to be for it to be poor imagine if someone in the England team was averaging that
