Magical place for any young football fan back in the day. Anyone on here regularly buy football shirts cheap as chips from there? Probably worth a fair bit now on the retro market.

Always had some of the topper Italian shirts in..Inter..Juventus..Roma.
They had a massive range of tops mind. Usually pick up the ones with slight faults for under a tenner. Got some class onesbought loads of stuff from there back in the day, down stairs for footy boots, cricket gear, rugby boots, trainers etc but always loved the wall / ceiling of footy tops at ground floor. Always wanted one of those awards.
Aye happy days remember going downstairs in it and also next door at the record shop Volume they had a basement. As a kid old fashioned sports shops were the place to visit for a pair of shin pads or those goal keeper gloves with with bits of plastic sewn on like the material on a table tennis bat⛸
I went in Tucci once looked at the prices straight out. I did buy a Ben Sherman shirt from West One for about £40 quid in late 1990s. Officers club much better valuespent my saturdays walking between TY McGurks and Upstairs in Joseph’s toy shop as a young’en. Later replaced by tucci and West one to see stuff I couldn’t afford.
My overriding memory is a f***ing massive yellow high top basketball shoe in the basement, may have been a reebok pump. They had it on display as some sort of freak show exhibit.
yeah was it the same size as Shaquelle O’Neals shoe size?

You've got to go to the clearance shelf in TK Maxx if you want to see that nowadays.
Especially when they had a sale on.
