About 60 ot 70 got in the Fulwell early but didn't stay long, ran down the front and onto the pitch when it kicked off, ran the gauntlet of coins and a few punches on the way back to their own end. Most of them were from Durham, knew a good few of them from Bishop Auckland.

Aye 69/70.It was the arriving early threw the police and the Fulwell End.I'm talking about 08.00am they were stacking up in that back lane between the houses and the old corporation bus depot.

No one around outside when I arrived at 2pm.Just about full when I arrived at the top of the stairs.The stench was horrific.

I loaned my season ticket for RP to an American work colleague in 1995/96 for match V Luton. He was over here for a year or so and wanted to experience English "soccer". He lived in Gateshead and got the train to Seaburn. He must have left the game a little early (Lads win) and stumbled across a Mag mob coming off the train at Seaburn and braying anyone they found on Fulwell Road (women and children), whilst most fans were still watching the match at RP. Apparently they retreated into Windmills where I presume they made their customary call to the poilce to arrange their protection.

US colleague from work was unhurt and thought the whole thing was great fun :lol:

He said 'Casulaties' which I disagree with. I assure you 'Vauxie' was a founding member-Vauxies came from the lads who used to meet and drink in The Beehive and The Borough on Friday nights and before home and London away matches when you'd leave on coaches at midnight [he was in the original group of what became 'Vauxies' and then congregated pre match primarily in Vaux Social Club, attached to Vaux Brewery, thus 'Vauxies'.
Brush up on your history and don't talk about days when you weren't even there re Roker and through there with these lads. Cheers.

Brush up on your history. Have you heard yourself man? You have added nowt to this conversation apart from being a vauxie fanboy. Have you their pictures on the wall? You weren't at any incident that has been mulled over on here, I was, and it's been confirmed by other posters. I also know the vauxie lads,love them to bits,and have been to many a match with them, but not the ones that have been out of the country for years and years. You know, the fella calling seaburn 'casualties' ,even though he hasn't been in this country while they have been active.Get back in your box tatie.

How the hell do you know which matches/incidents I’ve attended? You’ve used the supposed insult ‘tatie’ twice, very original, how old are you? 12? I said I disagreed with Vauxies ‘Casualties’ remark, for your info I know lads in both groups as well as many steady away supporters from years of following SAFC.
You’ve commented on times when you weren’t even around. That’s a fact. Saying nothing more on this.

It was Easter 69 when the mags were in the fulwell 1-1 if I recall s/land were on the left side looking from Roker end,
First match at SOL against the mags I recall going up Roker avenue a bar Red something no longer there a mob of Sunderland about 200 chocka inside with about 50 on pavement with old bill watching them like hawks as far as I'm aware mags never showed that day
