Travelling by Car to Wembley

Are you flirting with me SBC?

So you have a ticket bought for the final but as yet no travel arrangements.

Are you on a budget? Time constraints?

If not why not come down the night before for the party?

I have a lass.

I have bought a ticket. No travel arrangements yet. But I am about to go and book a coach ticket with ALS now. I can see advantages with coach travel. I didn't have my phone in 2014 so I can stream stuff or read or listen to my playlist.

I will always have it eat away at me the question over whether or not I would have been fine or whether or not I am able to drive a long distance. But I have to make the best of it because I will have to live with it for a long time to come.

I wouldn't joke about something so serious SBC.

It was those nice Japs who bombed Pearl Harbour.

SBC lad, just drive man, but stop over Saturday night. Best of all worlds, you go, you have a good Saturday night, you prove to yourself you can drive long distance.

Reminds me of the time when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbour ;)

Am I being whooshed?

You're still together? That's good going.

It was Japan yes

You reckon you'll be able to get a coach ticket? Have you had a look yet?

We only got together in about September I think.

Not yet.

Please tell me you are joking!!:lol:

I am sitting in my room.

I have got on a coach. Not in about 5 years though.

My room? A holding cell at Clough Road Custody suite here in Hull, your room?

Attempting a trial run yesterday would have worked if only you had not followed the coachload of Japanese tourists. Next stop after the Angel of the North was the Humber Bridge. Now, I am sure you have encountered roundabouts before, but perhaps not the best time to go round and round the one on the north bank rolling your dice, hoping to shake double six and start again. Your further confusing Killinghome refinery with those at Middlesbrough, asking when the Tees transporter got replaced gave the police no option.

Producing this thread in mitigation was not the best thing to do really. Yes, you do now have a seat on a coach. But as a result of a) local plod have impounded your car and, b) in the further interests of road safety, had a whip round and bought you a ticket.

Anybody fancy convincing the driver of the coach he is now booked on to swing via Hull to pick him up?

Placed my order for a coach ticket. It's all done now. Will be picking it up from the ALS office. All those memories of 2014 and the one thing that get's overlooked is the day I picked up my coach ticket. That seemed easy compared to the game ticket! The one and only time I have ever darkened the steps of the ALS HQ is when I went to pick up the coach ticket so I will be reliving a good memory. Not just when I did that but waited for the coach. I was so excited on the morning. The Taxi dropped me off at the entrance to the side street opposite the Toyota dealership. I walked my usual journey to find throngs of fans on the space now occupied by the Hilton Hotel/Karbon Grille. When the coaches arrived the anticipation built up even more. I am trying to remember the coach firm. It was a blue coach (one of two) and it was something like Sunshine Holidays or something. The last one along and I got a front row seat. The doors closed and I have never been so excited.

Can't wait - almost.

Sunshine Holidays? You've just gone that little bit too far. Well done on whoever it is for winding people up so much. I would guess CatRyan is the same person. An imaginary Sunderland supporter who never ever talks about the match but likes showing her tits.

The Internet really does give licence to every weirdo imaginable. Here was me thinking the lad was just a bit slow.

Anyway I'm off to the match . The place people go when they don't have an alternative Internet reality.
