I think he’ll move into CDM eventually (like you say, if he reaches PL level).

I agree eventually but wouldn’t write him off yet as a top level full back. It’s not all about pace. Positioning is key and he needs to work on his a little but he’s got tonnes of potential. Pace is more a get out jail free card for defending but will never trump the actually art of defending
