Not being funny but that reads like a load of *******. What do they actually do to generate income? It reads like a dot com company that raised loads of money through an IPO to inflate the share price then went bust because they had no business plan. They specialise in buying and selling securities? Generous way of saying asset strippers
Essentially how short made his money.
How warren buffet made his stash.
What do you think goes on in wall street or threadneedle street?
Stoke's owner makes his money from online gambling. Is that acceptable but asset stripping as you melodramatically put it is horrid.
Its a big nasty world out there.
Should football club owners all be altruistic philanthropists with green credentials ?

Well I'm relieved I'm not the one that spilled the beans. I know who the OP's HK source is.

Now that you all know the name of the company, I want to tell you that if it is Everbright Securities that eventually bought you, they would be the most high-profile one out of all the Chinese financial groups that have invested in English football clubs. The company is part of a state-owned consortium. I had never heard of Tony Xia, his company or any other Chinese owners before they took over their respective clubs but Everbright? No one in China can tell you that they don't know what it is.

this is the company i told you about
this might just happen, as they are using a guy in london to broker the deal who is pals with short

What do you or your source think their aims and motivations would be? i.e. will they be good owners or batshit crazy?
