We have too many young lads from the north east for him to be allowed back. He would be in their ears saying play well and you can get a move to a better club. Just like Steve Bruce was. He is really the last person we want at our club. We are at a critical point and we need to be able to hang on to these young north east lads. It’s the only way we can progress. History shows selling them is not the answer, because we always replace them with worse
He needs to know football, not too much else.I'd say so, yes.
Play well and you can get a good move is exactly what our strategy demands of these younguns. And if they play well, staying here becomes a good move itself. We have too many young lads from the north east for him to be allowed back. Daft lad made a mistake, was tempted by more money than any of us could imagine even though he didn’t need it, thought he’d do two years there then he could accept getting paid bugger all back at Sunderland to finish his career in style.
Some alleged itk on not606 have said they'd heard we've had preliminary talks with him about coming back. What’s the craic here then? Why the bump??
He needs to know football, not too much else.
I dont think that would happen tbhI’d give him a position of authority as long as his wage was in line with everyone else.
Well he’s correctSome alleged itk on not606 have said they'd heard we've had preliminary talks with him about coming back.
Harry Kane is the England captain''Come on Saudi 2034'' Jordan Henderson, England Captain
Well he’s correct
This. Sadly he's taken their money, knowing full well they only targeted him due to his profile. I wouldn't be surprised to see our ownership take him but it sends the wrong signal imo''Come on Saudi 2034'' Jordan Henderson, England Captain
That'll be down to the data analysts, no? I've no idea what he'd like but I wouldn't have thought motivating players would be too much of a problem for him. He'd need it to have an ability to motivate players of different standards and personalities, then there's all the fitness metrics and modern data analysis. A lot more to modern coaching than just being able to kick a ball.
Not sure what signing on fee he may have had but in terms of wages he wasn't there long enough to get much at all.This. Sadly he's taken their money, knowing full well they only targeted him due to his profile. I wouldn't be surprised to see our ownership take him but it sends the wrong signal imo
If he wanted to come he'd make it happen.I dont think that would happen tbh
8+ years liverpool captain
70+ england caps
European cup winner
Premier league winner
but you need to be on 10 bob a week the same as abdoullah
Also, I think most young lads at any club realise that if they play well they can get a move to a better club without JH whispering in their earsEh, is this based on anything?
