Tony Mowbray

People love a conspiracy theory on here. Can’t ever have anything going well, has to be some sort of dark secret.

Is it conspiracy to point out that we haven’t heard or seen from the head coach since the last game of the season when we’ve had new contracts, new signings, outgoings, fixtures announced and two days of pre-season training?

Unless someone has suggested he’s been abducted by aliens, I think it’s just pointing out that it’s not within the realms of normality or usual practice.

He was involved with the Dutch lads transfer just the other day 😆

Who's to say he's not sat with Speakman and Co looking at what else they can do in the transfer market? Or on a period of extended leave whilst the lads just piss about with the fitness coaches in their first week back.

But it is strange to not have the standard quotes about new signings from the head coach. I'm not suggesting it means anything at all for Mowbray, but it's different to what we're used to.

He was part of the Dutch lads transfer discussions according to the northern echo last week

“As well as meeting Sunderland’s sporting director, Kristjaan Speakman, Seelt also held discussions with head coach Tony Mowbray prior to moving to the Stadium of Light.”
So did bellingham say he spoke to him

No, they'll be plenty of time for him to speak about the new lads. Just making something out of nothing.

If they were going to sack him, why are they involving him in transfers only a matter of days ago?....the club don't do things on a whim now, if he was to go, he'd have been gone already, with a new head coach settling in already.

This club is completely different to what we've been used to.....thank god!!

It's amazing how many people are unfamiliar with the pronoun "them." Saves so much time than writing out "him/her/it"
Yeah I was sort of highlighting this in a slightly pisstaking way

Some people get very irked by it

James Acaster does a great routine on it 😂

If that @Sea to Shining Sea keeps talking nonsensical drivel, im going to put him/her/it on ignore. I've read nothing but ridiculous speculation from him/her/it.

Oh Ian O, it will be absolutely devastated if you do.

You haven’t read any speculation by the way. You might think you have, but you haven’t. If you can in some way show that Mowbray has made comment/ been attributed to comments on signings, contracts, outgoings, fixtures or been photographed / seen / led at pre-season training, please hoy it up before you put it on ignore

First thing that came to my mind was Acaster's bit
