He’s been mentioned by some of the signings. I assume he’s not dead.

If they were going to sack him, why are they involving him in transfers only a matter of days ago?....the club don't do things on a whim now, if he was to go, he'd have been gone already, with a new head coach settling in already.

Where have I said they are going to sack him? I'm just saying it's noticeably different to what we're used to. I can't be arsed to look but I bet every one of last summer's signing announcements included a little quote from Alex Neil.

I maintain that it’s all still a bit odd. If Mowbray has been involved in recruitment directly as is suggested there, you’d think he’d be referenced by the club official channels in some way as well.

So now you’ve moved from saying it’s weird because none of the players mentioned him to changing your conspiracy theory entirely because you were blown out the water. Amazing.

Used as the object of a verb or preposition to refer to two or more people or things previously mentioned or easily identified. As he/she or it is one person, "them" is not grammatically correct. It refers to more than one.
 
Bit of 'just asking questions' energy on display today. If he's not back by next week then maybe there's something going on. Could be owt happening in the mean-time though. His lad has been doing his A levels for one. Maybe him and family have gone away for a holiday, but only managed to get away. after the last exam finished

Mowbray has not made any public comment about SAFC since the end of the season. Whether it be incoming transfers, outgoing players, new contracts, the fixture list and now hasn’t been seen or heard from after two days of pre-season. They are facts. The article shared with me shows that there has been a teams conversation at an unspecified time between Mowbray and player / agent. It doesn’t make any of the previous points incorrect.

So aside from pointing some facts out and saying it’s curious, what conspiracy theory have I perpetuated?

Easier to just say what it is you're actually getting at then really. Saves all these hints and statements and people saying x and you saying its not what you mean.

As long as we're working down the Tree of Concern towards lower level stuff like 'we haven't heard from a head coach (who some don't even rate all that much) in a while - albeit it is the off-season' I reckon things are probably working okay. It's only odd if you let it be.
