They won't get rid of him before then as to do so essentially makes their own positions untenable.

He'll be here until October-ish next season and will be sacked when we inevitably continue to struggle then.

It doesn’t matter, he’s here to stay. A club not willing to pay compensation for the managers they initially wanted aren’t going to sack someone with 2 years left on his deal. In my opinion, anyway.

Most, myself included in the same boat. A habit that won't be kicked. I think there's potential for a complete nose dive in team performance, spirit and togetherness. If we churn out a load more performances like Wednesday night and drop like a stone I think they will be forced to take action and a change in the summer. The players/assets values will start to plummet too and the model will be fucked.
