Tony Mowbray Rumour

I know the snake we had did leave, but most managers with anything about them won't want to leave the club they're at sonesely in the season. Robins for eg who seems a popular choice. Getting him to walk away from there to come here after a handful of league games, big ask and probably wouldn't be keen on tarnishing his reputation.

Mowbray might not be the most charismatic coach, but he will give us a solid base and keep us in this division, which is paramount. Beyond that, he has experience and has been successful at this level.

No, objectives will potentially change as the season goes on. Ultimately the objective will be to stay up and consolidate.
What about Mowbray?
41% career win rate, mostly at this level. His Blackburn team played attacking football, and he has a proven track record of developing young players. That fits our model. We're very much a work in progress. Right now, we need a proven Championship manager to get us stable. If you think we can get Dyche, Farke or Bielsa, get real.
Mowbray isn't proven

Robins would be great but there's no way he'd leave Coventry for safc currently

Under KLD we haven’t really shown any ambition to progress, other than his football manger game of buying cheap and hoping to sell high it’s been pretty shyte.
Think I’m gonna be done soon

We've just been promoted and we are signing players like Ballard, Clarke, Cirkin etc and lads from PSG etc instead of old has beens looking for a lazy last pay day.

Ryan Lowes Preston have scored one goal in 6 games……….not sure that would go down well with our support
Not conceded a single goal either though, and are ahead of us in the table - I suspect the defensive style his Preston team play is down to necessity because of the players he has. His Plymouth team were good to watch the last 2 seasons.
