Tony Mowbray Rumour

41% career win rate, mostly at this level. His Blackburn team played attacking football, and he has a proven track record of developing young players. That fits our model. We're very much a work in progress. Right now, we need a proven Championship manager to get us stable. If you think we can get Dyche, Farke or Bielsa, get real.
As much as I like your post for staying basic facts, I do feel you may be better going outside and pissing in the wind

Never going to set the pulses racing, but a steady pair of hands who will hopefully consolidate us. Not sure how long his contract will be, but if he can have us competitive and continue the decent start we've had, then he's done a good job and then rethink in the summer. People are massively kidding themselves if they think we should be going for promotion.

Not going down is this seasons aim and very sensible at that.

Pointing out inconvenient details to people reacting totally at an emotional level is something I do. A bit like banging my head on the wall, but at least it doesn't hurt.

I might not like it but if Mowbray gets the job I will be giving him my full backing. Doesn’t matter about past performances it is what he does for us that counts. It won’t help if the fans pounce on him at the sign of any slip up.

Not exactly what I was hoping for, but he’s a safe pair of hands with experience of the Championship. He’ll keep us up no problem and is capable of having us pushing for play offs.

Good for a couple of years and then get someone better in as we progress, a bit like what Blackburn have just done with him.

I’d rather have had someone like Ryan Lowe as a long term appointment but Mowbray will do a job.
Ryan Lowes Preston have scored one goal in 6 games……….not sure that would go down well with our support

I don't think he will be the man to push us into the Prem, but I do think he will consolidate us in this league and hopefully develop some our our young talent.

Agree with this, I'd rather try and build in this division than a season getting destroyed every week in the PL. Hopefully if and when we get back up we at least have a chance of not being howked week-in-week-out.
