Tony Mowbray Rumour

Not exactly what I was hoping for, but he’s a safe pair of hands with experience of the Championship. He’ll keep us up no problem and is capable of having us pushing for play offs.

Good for a couple of years and then get someone better in as we progress, a bit like what Blackburn have just done with him.

I’d rather have had someone like Ryan Lowe as a long term appointment but Mowbray will do a job.

Caddied for someone he was playing with at a pro am golf tournament years ago. Pissed my self laughing the whole 18 holes. Blokes funny as fuck. He kept singing dream warriors you wash your face in my sink. Whilst body popping to a below average level and strung out one liner after one liner
are you his agent.. ive never seen him smile once even a little murmer..

How does he fit? He's been promoted once in about 25 years and had all the resources in the world at Celtic & got nowhere near Rangers...
41% career win rate, mostly at this level. His Blackburn team played attacking football, and he has a proven track record of developing young players. That fits our model. We're very much a work in progress. Right now, we need a proven Championship manager to get us stable. If you think we can get Dyche, Farke or Bielsa, get real.

Yes this is how i feel now after initially hating the idea….Blackburn had a good season last year and he knows this division inside out
He is not an inspiring appointment but i agree that he is a safe pair of hands particularly for this season
