Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Not that I think booing was warranted but you can’t compare any of those to Watson. He’s had maybe three good games in his time here and has jumped ship at the first sniff. Those you mention have played hundreds of games between them. It’s on the club that one injury to our first choice left winger and we are left playing a player he and we all now know won’t be here in a few weeks time. Just a shit situation all round I don’t think he’s fully there which in some way I understand as he won’t be here anyway.
The only difference between Neil and Cirkin is both are waiting until the end of the season, but no doubt their agents are working behind the scenes to get the best deal they can..all players do it, it's called professional football...

Which is way better than what’s went down with Watson. Also I wouldn’t begrudge either of those a move given what they’ve given on the pitch. Watson has done very little given what the club have given him in reality.

Based on what we saw yesterday no one would be disappointed with the £11m but we’d never want to see him again in red and white

With the exception of 1 half at sheff united away ... a 1 goal at the sol. He's not setting the world ablaze

Yesterday was a shit show ... and the last couple of games have Been dull laboured affairs we've attacking seems a challenge, hence its hard to judge him on that.

Booing him is petty... especially when other players should be held accountable for when we couldn't hold our season together when we were 5 points clear and started dropping needless points.

How many 19 year old get offered to go to a decent pl operation and get to be millionaires ... with less 1st experience. I don't blame him

We are a player farm ...this is our model . Deal with it

But he's bringing the club £10mil, not bad for a player no one seems to rate or like....

He pulled out of one too many challenges early second half for me, one in particular at the North End corner flag. Not a thought of challenging the Swansea player. No Tommy, going through the motions is not going to cut it these last few games I'm afraid.

I ABSOLUTELY don't want Watson having any part in the play-offs!

He's done precious little to start with, and he took the first chance to leave us for the money.

Shown f**k all interest or loyalty to the club that developed him, so Bye-Bye, Tommy.
Don't wish him any harm, but he should be on garden leave and away from the squad.
Wasn’t the first chance he has had to leave like, maybe was partially for money but has also moved to a club who are unfortunately quite a bit ahead of us at the moment. As for loyalty, well the club didn’t have to sell him, they could have held him to the contract he signed, would the club have been loyal to him if he wasn’t good enough? Answer is no they would have just released him no matter how long he has been here
He didn't even want to sign a pro at 17 man after the club had trained him up.

Our fans are soft as shite. Not surprised they're always shit on.
Or maybe the deal they were offering him at 17 was shite?

Mad that they have been trying non stop for years to get him when the smb have told everyone he is crap, only after he has agreed to move they have decided this tho

Had no chance what so ever of winning that ball and if it was not for the fact he is moving nobody would have gave it a second glance

I rate him mate just think his heads been turned since the link in the summer window. We do t know what’s went on maybe the club have been shitty to him but it feels like he’s jumped ship as soon as possible and he’s seemed off a little since the move was sorted.

Tbf marra, the club could have told Brighton to wait until the summer, however, regardless if the lad wanted to go or not it's hasn't been handled very well by the club...

Succinct comment .the sooner the fan base wise up to this the better .

My opinion on the Watson scenario...

He's done fuck all to suggest he's worth 10m, he's also behind Mundle. So good fee for the club.

If he left on deadline day but the club signed him back on loan, none of this fume would be a thing and his commitment wouldn't be questioned. I think we will sell Rigg in the summer and I think a buying club would see the benefits of leaving him with us another year, I can't see that scenario being met with all this drama.

Should we be playing him... He's a Sunderland player until he isn't so yes we should consider him...but...on the basis of the last 2 games, No he's not impacting games. Pat on the left and Mayenda on the Right please, let's see if Roberts can cross the ball on his left instead of cutting inside every 10min, it's at the point now where the keeper could probably make a brew while Roberts is on a run.

Harte, whether connected to the deal or not is a massive bell end.
