Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

well that’s that then
No point in bothering we’ll just follow that plan of action
FFS

What you up a height about? If you’d been offered being 12 points above 5th place with 4 games to play in August you’d of gave the bloke who offered it more than a handshake

I’m delighted we sold him. He doesn’t get a premier league start next season.

I’m not happy he’s starting got us now. He’s not interested and he’s not had a good game for months, why is he starting games for us. We are becoming a joke selection wise. Thanks Tommy you don’t want to play for us, you’ve been injured, but please play at snails place but we’ll start you anyway. Serious Sunderland it’s embarrassing.

I think form going into the play offs really counts
We can’t just ease off & put our feet up & expect to steamroll the play offs
Won’t happen
Momentum is key

As is fitness, availability and being focused and fresh.

Who knows what lies ahead, we could end the season up against a Blades side, exhausted, dejected and lacking confidence after missing out on automatic, decimated by injury suffering a massive drop in form and still be beaten. All I can say is that I'm not prepared to start moaning before the event as I have no idea how things are in our camp, or if our approach will prove to be the winning formula.

I wouldn’t look too much into it tbh, when was the last time the team who finished 6th won the championship play off final? We’ll be ok what’s the worst that can happen?
I think both things can be true maybe? No point in flogging our best players to death but it'd be nice to go into the playoffs with a bit of momentum.

If mundle was fit I don't think Watson would be getting much game time. We're also missing Poveda and jobe who would be starting/on the bench which would push Watson further down the pecking order

He's only getting game time now due to lack of other options

Poveda???? Really????

At least we're getting money for Watson, Poveda is a conman who's leeching off the club and is worth absolutely ZERO.

I'd make the lazy sod pay admission to get into the ground on match days, since he's nowt but a spectator.

I agree, but he'd still be further up the pecking order if he was fit.
