Jack Clarke was miles better for us. He was more attacking, he scored more and he assisted more. I’m still bitter he left but we got way more out of him than Watson.

Watson has been developed by the club since he was 6 years old. He was given a chance to play for the first team very quickly and decided he wanted to move anyway.

Clarke by far gave the most back. It’s not comparable.
 
For me, the simple matter is he’s not good enough yet. He’s a player in development. At present he’s far off the finished consistent article in the Championship but he’s shown very good potential and flashes of quality.

The issue is if he was still our player we’d persist with him to help bring him on, but right now I don’t think he’s good enough to impact us for the remaining games. Playing him isn’t benefiting us.

We shouldn’t be booing him.

Exactly. He's only playing due to lack of other options. If we had a fully fit squad, and he signed a new contract with us for 5 years , he still isn't good enough to be starting

He's alright but never really got the fuss about him tbh. Needs to get a bit strength as he always seems like he's weak as water to me

No matter which side of the fence you sit on with Watson, it’s a daft thing to do. In what way would booing SAFC at all? Whether we like it or not, it looks like Watson will play a part in the deciding moments of the season. Potentially a lot of minutes, potential very few, but I think it’s clear he’ll be knocking about. Booing will not encourage him to perform any better. It’ll only affect him negatively.

Can’t imagine any of his teammates appreciated it either.
 
I thought he was okay. Not great but okay for a player just back from a long spell out and still a kid.
I think we should start him in the league until there’s a better left wing option. By the play off semis That’s hopefully Mundle but in those games it might be Le Fee.
 
Watson could have just waited until the end of the season. The fans are looking at it he’s jumped ship before he knows what league we be playing in. clearly he’s never wanted to commit he’s future here

I ABSOLUTELY don't want Watson having any part in the play-offs!

He's done precious little to start with, and he took the first chance to leave us for the money.

Shown f**k all interest or loyalty to the club that developed him, so Bye-Bye, Tommy.
Don't wish him any harm, but he should be on garden leave and away from the squad.

Does that include Neil and Cirkin anarl, both haven't signed new deals, or Jobe who's been touted by him dar across Europe to every club thats interested? Watson is a professional footballer, he was offered a poor deal by the club so decided to accept a contract from a club in a higher league prepared to meet his demands..and BTW safc didn't have to sell him...

He didn't even want to sign a pro at 17 man after the club had trained him up.

Our fans are soft as shite. Not surprised they're always shit on.

Not that I think booing was warranted but you can’t compare any of those to Watson. He’s had maybe three good games in his time here and has jumped ship at the first sniff. Those you mention have played hundreds of games between them. It’s on the club that one injury to our first choice left winger and we are left playing a player he and we all now know won’t be here in a few weeks time. Just a shit situation all round I don’t think he’s fully there which in some way I understand as he won’t be here anyway.
