Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Very raw but looks promising. Buzzing for him to get off the mark today and he’s done very well being thrown in at deep end
He hasn’t been thrown in the deep end. He’s been through the system and in and around the first team squad for ages. He was selected because he ready and in only 4 or 5 starts he is looking a class act. He doesn’t look raw to me at all in terms of football know how just physically which will come

A little harsh maybe

But generally he looks a little short and Mundle comes straight back in when fit.

In a year or two I think Watson will be great
No, Watson needs more first team games, he is good enough now, just needs a bit more upper body strength.

Mundle should come back in on the right for Roberts.

Prefer Mundle, but the lad is clearly good enough at 19 for this league, which speaks volumes.

Read on here after the Sheffield United match a comment from a typical moaning whopper saying the fact he was second choice shows how poor the squad is and we need to sign some experience. Whoever it was: boil your head.

If he was a right winger, he’d be first choice. Although that was one Roberts’s best game for a while tbf. We still need to sign a right winger who can win matches more consistently imo.
18.
Fair play to speakman for turning down the Brighton offer whatever it was circa seven million. Likely be worth a ton more the way he's goin
£3m

He’s going to be a fantastic player. Hopefully his performances will help Rigg raise his level, he won’t want his mate getting all the plaudits.

Great they will be pushing each other , and we will need them both in a long season , Watson ahead for me
Might be now! That was a real coming of age performance. Unlucky not to have a couple of assists, really should have had a hat-trick and could have had four. Also looks to be learning the physical side quickly. Whatever we’re doing with left wingers, I wish we’d do on the right as well!

Mundle comes back in for me. Watson will get loads of time off the bench. He'll come into his own eventually. He's got everything he needs to be a top player.
