Difference is capacity and people’s disinclination to attend when they have to sit. Still a hell of a crowd
Ah right so if you have a bigger capacity you can't count that as being a big crowd

Yes because these owners we have that are looking after every pound that comes into the club would magically declare there were 11,000 more people than there were because they love paying tax on £300k+ extra revenue that they didn't actually get just to make it look like we have more fans than we actually had
You absolute f***ing spacktard mag twat, fuck off and make another shit hashtag up
You beat my editAh right so if you have a bigger capacity you can't count that as being a big crowd![]()
And guess who liked and agreed with that pile of shite
Your wrong....Highest ever in L1 was about 38k by Leeds I think? Could be wrong.
At the Boro it's 15,000 home fans and 1000 visitors..What does 31k look like exactly?
Your wrong....
agree, looked around 20k max.......loads of empty seats.
Your wrong....
What was Charlton’s away attendance? Can’t find this anywhere.
It was all in the media last week that Man city held it at just under 29000. I don't disbelieve you mind if you have been otherwise. It does say Leeds 38,ooo mind I've just checked
38,256 was there biggest in League 1 in 07/08
They also got 38,234 in 09/10 the year they won promtion from League 1

So who holds the record now then? ...I could not recall Leeds averaging 38000 but do recall City when they were down there due to working with a load of city lads at Bae Woodford in Manchester.Man City hold the highest average. Leeds average was nowhere near 38000, in fact they've only ever once averaged over that figure on their entire history. 26000 was the highest they averaged in this league
If you thought it looked 20,000 max then you weren’t even there!agree, looked around 20k max.......loads of empty seats.
Hmmm...I wonder, would love to be admin on here, I'd ban all wind up pretendy fans

Hull City have the record for the 3rd tier , 37,139 unless someone can come up with a higher one. (1949)
(*technically , as the 3rd division was separated into North and South.)
Following the formation of the 3rd and 4th division, the highest I can find is Aston Villa 1971/72 which is 31,952, so unless someone can find a higher one, then it is reachable.
Sheff Wed had a crowd over 49000 in '79
Both Cardiff and Hull had higher attendances in the 3rd division South and 3rd division North respectively
