If you're going for third tier (minus play-off finals), it goes to Sheffield Wednesday and the 1979 Boxing Day Massacre. 49k.
Hull city at booth ferry park had bigger gates 3rd division north when the stadium opened Wednesday have the record crowd for a 3rd division game.btw I attended the game at the bottom of the street in 1979 and the atmosphere in the stadium was shite.

A couple of mags i know to speak to on a semi friendly basis.... did admit that it was an impressive turnout. PLEASE let this be our re-awakening

Yes because these owners we have that are looking after every pound that comes into the club would magically declare there were 11,000 more people than there were because they love paying tax on £300k+ extra revenue that they didn't actually get just to make it look like we have more fans than we actually had

You absolute f***ing spacktard mag twat, fuck off and make another shit hashtag up

Standing or not it's still the same league, I've no idea what difference it makes and lots of clubs in this league have standing areas anyway
Difference is capacity and people’s disinclination to attend when they have to sit. Also 40 years ago was a different world. Still a hell of a crowd
