Everyone is kicking off as if their lives are ruined and I’m just sat inside on my own, like I would be even if COVID wasn’t a thing.

People are losing their minds that they can’t go to a pub. I mean seriously?
Agree 100 %.

Only thing i'm missing is holidays.

Not having relatives doing the "pop-in" is great. Not having to go to weddings, christenings, etc of people I don't really like, is fantastic.
I'm living the dream 😂
Almost 20% come from supermarkets.
Obviously

All you’re saying is that your life hasn’t really changed, so naturally you will not mind.

It’s ok for others to be upset or disappointed that they are missing out on things they enjoy.

I’m saying that people kicking off because they can’t have a pint are missing the bigger picture.

Is there a clear published criteria for how many per 100k you have to have with the 'rona to move between tiers? Combination of rona and R rate? Or is it just more to do with the proximity to the Tory shires?

There is the big picture but I get why people could be upset about it. Those people know there is a big picture as well, and will rationalise it after a bit time. It’s just a kick in the arse to many.

Is it not ok to be pissed off mate,? It gets right on my tits every weekend I can’t go for a pint with the lads . Never realised how much I would miss it and I’m sure I’m not alone... that doesn’t mean that people who like a pint now and then can’t see the big picture .. it just means we are disappointed we can’t do it..

imagine if the restrictions were extended to not being able to access statistics and quoting them in reply to someone ( which presumably you enjoy) would you not be a little pissed off?? Obviously a hypothetical question but from reading your posts on here I’m not sure what else you do enjoy .

Yep, also not sure why it’s always ‘wanting a pint’ that’s the thinly veiled insult thrown around on here at people who are disappointed and fed up about the restrictions. The ability to go for a pint with my dad or my mates, or a drink and meal with my lass, is just one part of why I’m disappointed and fed up about it all as the restrictions affect a hell of a lot more than just that, it affects all parts of our social and family lives so I think people are well within their right to be pissed off at it all (whilst still understanding the bigger picture). As usual on here, there very rarely seems to be an in between.

Let's be honest, in this country, most socialising revolves around a pub or restaurant. That's why it's absolutely shite.
