This time with Alan Partridge

Some decent moments, but not up to the standard of classic Partridge (Knowing Me.... & I'm Alan Partridge)
It'll get better though I reckon. 7/10.

I love Alan Partridge, but thought this was very poor.
The same for me. Must have watched each of his shows at least ten times each and absolutely love them, but this felt a bit laboured. Didn't appreciate the set-up at all. Hopefully it will improve as it goes on.

"guess who's big in the back time!"

Well as a Patridge fan who hasn't really enjoyed the more recent stuff, I loved that. Only thing I still can't get away with is that Simon bloke. Much rather have Michael back!

Don't know who's stolen Lyn's eyebrows mind!

:lol:I knew she looked different but couldn't pinpoint why

It's a brave move to set this series in a situation where there's no live audience reaction or laugh track. I think that's what may have upset people who enjoyed previous incarnations of Partridge. If anything the silence in the studio magnifies the embarrassment and awkwardness factor x 10. I think this will build and build as the series progresses.
