Things you’ve learned in the last 24 hours

Today I have learned that the guy who shot the man eating leopard of Rudraprayag, his gun is on show at Rigbys.

Every day is a school day.
Don't lose sleep over man eating big cats please, there are none in the UK, just trying to put your mind at rest in case your scared of what might be lurking out there 😳🐯

That my working day apparently never ends. After starting at 11.00 last night and just about to go to bed, I'm being asked for data on how often a certain task is carried out. And also the 20 hours overtime this week (9 of which are tonight), will be paid back in time owed.

My responses. No. and No. If you're not paying me 1.5x , I WILL leave you in the shit tonight.

I’ve only now realised just how much seemingly everyone else here needs to have their work signed-off by senior management.

I’m given autonomy by my boss to look after my area. And my managers are given autonomy to look after theirs.

I thought that was normal, but I guess not.

What fascinating new pieces of information have you all discovered in this past day?
