So he's effectively going to drag anyone he can into it - coaching staff, backroom staff, teammates - to try and get his ban reduced. The implication being (as everyone already knows) that more than the so-called 'leadership group' knew what was going on.
In doing so, he will effectively tar others with the same brush, casting aspersions on their integrity as well as trashing their personal images, along with his own. What then? More bans followed by more personal hearings and 'tell-all' interviews to alleviate loss of earnings?
