The word pathetic came to mind

He stated he would answer questions. Did the big tough Aussie do that? No he did not

The "leadership group" imo consists of the mouthpieces before every ashes recently. Smith, Warner, Lyon and starc, with Lehmann fully understanding and encouraging

There was an interesting angle of the incident that showed Warner shaking his head as the stooge Bancroft had been caught at it.

I have not an ounce of sympathy for Warner, he deserves none, for the obnoxious behaviour he has shown over the last few years.

If he is never seen on a pitch again, it has all been self inflicted and karma catching up.

The whole press conference was stage managed. Walk in with his wife, gets a hug and a kiss before he faces the media, all of which was part of it all. Crocodile tears throughout. Didn't answer the questions at the end. He kept repeating the 3rd Test last Saturday when asked about if there were any other instances of ball tampering. Afterwards tweeting he could only refer to that match as it was still under investigation.

What an absolute tosser Warner is. Not so cocky now is he. Lets hope that Cricket Australia give him a suspended fine so that if he sells his story in a few years time they can take any profit he makes from it.

Leave him alone

He is feeling hurt .....

 these press conferences have been brilliant
☺☺the f***ing soft cock.
If you want to be a bear, then be a f***ing grizzly.
Forget this ball tampering shite, forget the fact he's a dick.
Just remember he's the bloke who led the disgusting comments about Trott and even more disturbingly Bairstow..
I'd have rapped a cricket bat straight round his head if he tried that on with me. The bloke is a cancer that needs cutting out of a fine game.

Wonder if Warner or his slack Alice wife thought about Trott’s or Bairstow’s family when he was a cocky twat .... Thought not. This bloke deserves all he gets and more. What goes around comes around. He made his own bed so now he has to lie in it. Bring it on.

Id have more respect for him if he just came out and said fair cop, we tried it on and got caught out, we are the not the first and won't be the last. I'm a **** and I know it.Like it or lump it.

I like how pre it starting, someone clearly said he would answer all questions after the statement had been read.

He most definitely did not answer a single question but repeated the pathetic statement over and over.

One question I have, Smith was quoted as saying it was a "leadership group" that the plan came from.

Now what constitutes a group? Bancroft as a new player clearly cannot be considered part of it.

Smith, Warner clearly implicated, is two people a group?

For me a group is at least four and that has to be Lyon and Starc.

Those two with Smith and Warner are always a pre series mouthpieces for the Australians.

More to come from this once the saffer series is over
