The tears only come after he rubs his eyes! Did he have something on his hands to improve his performance?

The crying seems vacuous to me too, no other purpose other than to garner sympathy and pity
Playing the victims and the Aussie public is falling for it!

Shane Warne saying the punishment is way too harsh and reading comments on social media from Oz after the press conferences.

Well, I suppose stage managed press conferences, tears, not answering questions, mothers, fathers, not telling the full story, wives, ex players, sob stories etc will have some effect.

TBH, the 'too harsh' comments are from all parts of the world, and mostly from professional cricketers. What it sounds like is that most pros have done it to some extent, and therefore don't realize why it is a big deal.

Aye, and it's a big deal due to the fact the Australians appointed themselves as the moral guardians of cricket and felt they had the right to be the judge, jury and executioner whilst being the most odious, underhand bunch of ...... around.

So he's effectively going to drag anyone he can into it - coaching staff, backroom staff, teammates - to try and get his ban reduced. The implication being (as everyone already knows) that more than the so-called 'leadership group' knew what was going on.

In doing so, he will effectively tar others with the same brush, casting aspersions on their integrity as well as trashing their personal images, along with his own. What then? More bans followed by more personal hearings and 'tell-all' interviews to alleviate loss of earnings?

What a piece of self-serving pond scum.

Even if his ban gets reduced, who'd want to share a dressing room with that?

Wonder if Warner or his slack Alice wife thought about Trott’s or Bairstow’s family when he was a cocky twat .... Thought not. This bloke deserves all he gets and more. What goes around comes around. He made his own bed so now he has to lie in it. Bring it on.
He's made his own bed but the problem is half the NRL has lain in it before him .;)
