Watched "The Equaliser" sequel not even Denzel could save it, awful film
Also watched Imperium with Daniel Radcliffe, scared the shit out of me particularly with whats going on in the US at the moment. Toni Collette also stars, still a fantastic actor

Yes, God, Yes 7/10

Enjoyable little indie about a Catholic schoolgirl in the 90s who discovers the pleasures of the flesh.

I checked out of watching that when I read the words "Hayden Christensen"

Yes. Indeed. Those are two words I tried to avoid using...

I stuck with the film because it was something to watching whilst standing ironing. Even when Harvey Keitel is simply standing quietly looking sorrowful, he still manages to out act the “main” character played by Christensen.

A Place In The Sun :(/10

Bloody hell man. Bit depressing this one. Handsome but dim Montgomery Clift falls in love with Liz Taylor but he’s.already got some other lass up the duff. Chaos ensues...
Raymond Burr appears too playing the same scary character as he does in Rear Window (sort of)
Has @Son of Stan or @Cockney Mackem seen this? Be interested to hear their thoughts

Paddington 2, wonderful family film about the gorgeous, polite little bear from deepest darkest Peru.
Sequels can often be shit, this one wasn't and I thought Hugh Grant was really great in it.
I'd give it a solid 8/10 for it's loveliness ♥

42 (2013) - Chadwick Boseman gives an amazing performance as Jackie Robinson. A couple of scenes were uncomfortable to watch showing the racist treatment he received not only from spectators but opposing managers but had to resist responding to it. 8/10

Zombieland: Double Tap. Decent enough sequel. 7/10

Knives Out. Pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this. Good cast (Daniel Craig‘s southern accent reminded me of Kevin Spacey) and a canny who done it. 7/10

Ready Or Not (2019) Canny thriller/comedy. A bride is introduced to her weird in-laws and has to spend her wedding night being hunted in a sick game of hide & sick. 6/10

Lovelace (2013) Amanda Seyfried potrays Linda Lovelace telling the story of her decent into the porn world, forced into it by her abusive husband. Quite disturbing to watch at times. 7/10
Thought Zombieland double tap was decent. Not as good as the first.

I'll bet @Son of Stan has, she's an aficionado of that era - I'll try and look it up

The Peanut Butter Falcon (netflix).
Terrible title though it is a wrestlers nickname. Good buddy buddy, on the road movie. Heartwarming, two or three good laughs. 7.5/10.

Yeah, not seen it for years but it's a bit too overwrought for me, plus not a Liz Taylor fan. Clift and Liz were great pals. I prefer him in The Heiress with Olivia De Havilland, where he makes a total wrong un somehow sympathetic.
