The Pep myth

Maybe he has quite simply come to the end of the road with Manchester City and it’s time to leave? No one lasts forever.
we are about to see if he is really good..the really top end managers rebuild syccessful teams as one cohorrt gets older...Pep now has that challenge...and he has to try to do it without having a major financial advntage over anyone else...they havent been big net spenders in recent years..the expectation seems to have been the kids coming through would replace the old hands..

How many of the kids played today?

One and he's not very good. And the best one they've produced, Palmer, was sold a bargain price.
The big problem at the moment is the midfield, which will be partially solved if Zubimendi arrives. The defence has always been a little suspect and not getting better.
Relatively disappointing buys such as Doku, Grealish, kovacevic and Nunes haven't helped, but even last year they were not that good, winning many games by a one goal margin.
Big challenge for Pep.

Foden is pretty decent mind

Lewis is also very good

So let me get this straight.

Smb logic dictates our form has fell away because we have injuries in the squad?

City have had worse injuries but their form has fell away because the managers been found out?

I see

When you have a squad like a Ma City just give them the ball and let them play.

Or as Cloughy said to his Forest team “only pass to someone in Red and every now and then kick it in that net”

It’s a simple game football.

He's the best manager in football history.

Every manager goes through a bad spell. Rodri a big loss.
a good manager wouldnt need to rely on one player cos their sqaud building would be better...they have spent hundreds of millions on midfielders so missing one shouldnt be that big an issue
