Do you think his brilliance could cut the mustard at our place?Probably the best coach in the world in terms of innovation and new ideas.
Absolutely brilliant.
That's a fair point that they beat domestic teams but fail in Europe. But there's a strange thing.Well he’s only spent 400 million on defence and keepers in 5/6 years, still can’t figure out how not to ship 6 goals over 2 legs in Europe.
He’s the master of domestic dominance, the attacking sequences and possession football is matched by none (worldwide). But as soon as the serious, real pressure of European knockout football with his 400 million pound defence comes around, suddenly the passing game doesn’t win the trophy.
Must adapt in Europe.

Man City don't struggle for goals. They create enough chances to win games. Not all shots result in goals. Same as any team.Nobody mentioned full-backs.
They missed a hell of a load of chances. I said nowhere that they struggled, but at the business end of the CL you need to be clinical. City weren't. They had chances to kill the game off at 1-0 and failed.
You can try and tighten up the the back but Guardiola has always been an offensive minded manager first and foremost.
Man City without a world class centre forward scored 5 goals against Real Madrid over two legs.
Liverpool with arguably 1 world class centre forward scored 5 goals against Villareal over two legs.
City conceded 6. Liverpool conceded 2.
Without doubt city played against a stronger opponent.
Attacking isn't the problem for Man City.
It’s quite straightforward.
Klopp is the better manager.
Why do you think that?
Klopp has definitely done more with less. Don't think that is even up for debate.Transformed Liverpool, spending a lot less than City.
Has now got Liverpool to 3 Champions League finals, and has them in two other domestic cup finals all while challenging for the title. At Dortmund he had to compete with the powerhouse of Bayern and came out on top.
I think Pep is a great coach, but Klopp is better.
Let's face it. It is between him and Klopp who are the best managers in world football at the minute.
Plenty managers coming through who could surpass them but at this point they are the best.
He got his side to another CL final? Why do you think that?
No idea to be honest. There will be managers I haven't heard of yet who will end up being elite. I thing Ten Hags appointment is exciting. Could go tits up like Villas Boas or he could live up to the hype.Who do you think could surpass them from the new breed?
Not being facetious just interested who you think has that potential
There’s not a manager I want to succeed more than Erik. But nah man, why make me think of AVB Ciro manNo idea to be honest. There will be managers I haven't heard of yet who will end up being elite. It's the way it is marra. The premier League is a different ball game. Anything could happen. There’s not a manager I want to succeed more than Erik. But nah man, why make me think of AVB Ciro man![]()
If only you were on the bench in Madrid to advise pep. They scored less than Real despite having nearly double the chances. Unless you play tight football the games are more likely to be open (few teams do it at the top Atleti aside) it's always gunna be a case of taking chances. City didn't tonight.
Grealish puts either of his away, Foden header... there you go.
They were also naive as a team mind. When Real scored the first, they had momentum in the game and the crowd was up. City gifted them the ball straight back. They should have slowed the game right down and used a bit from the Simeone textbook
