Hope she chills out for a while to be honest, she’s always working and I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve put something on and she’s been in it. Her working credits must be longer than the bible.

Could just be a coincidence. Remember an interview with John Simm when both BBC and ITV were showing something with him in on the same night and he said he'd made both of them ages before but once stuffs done it's up the distributor when it's released.

Best Picture: One of Roma and The Favourite. Could go either way. Pinned down, I'd say Roma.
Lead Actor: Rami Malek. The film's not great but he's tremendous!
Lead Actress: Olivia Colman, The Mustard Queen!
Supporting Actor: Mahershala Ali
Supporting Actress: Regina King. Not sure why except the votes for The Favourite could split.
Director: Alfonso Cuarón
Original Song: It will be “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born” by Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, Andrew Wyatt and Benjamin Rice. It should be “When A Cowboy Trades His Spurs For Wings” from “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs” by David Rawlings and Gillian Welch.

6 out of 7 there for me. Only let down by Best Picture.

Oscars pretty spread out this year (which seems a regular thing lately).

I really didn’t enjoy Black Panther mind and I love Marvel in general. The cynic in me thinks it’s been nominated and won as a bit of a box ticking excersise.

I have to agree. I didn't last more than 30 minutes with it.
Also - can't help feeling sad for Richard E Grant.

Agreed. Mind, I recorded the Oscars, sat down to watch and the sodding thing ended just as she got up to speak. Had to watch it on you tube. The only bit I really wanted to see.

Get away. If you've seen any of her acceptance speeches over the years from Bafta onwards she is always brilliant, always genuine.
