Ah, reet. Forgot about that.Spends the whole time staring into the camera. Very amateurish
Could just be a coincidence. Remember an interview with John Simm when both BBC and ITV were showing something with him in on the same night and he said he'd made both of them ages before but once stuffs done it's up the distributor when it's released.Hope she chills out for a while to be honest, she’s always working and I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve put something on and she’s been in it. Her working credits must be longer than the bible.
Best Picture: One of Roma and The Favourite. Could go either way. Pinned down, I'd say Roma.
Lead Actor: Rami Malek. The film's not great but he's tremendous!
Lead Actress: Olivia Colman, The Mustard Queen!
Supporting Actor: Mahershala Ali
Supporting Actress: Regina King. Not sure why except the votes for The Favourite could split.
Director: Alfonso Cuarón
Original Song: It will be “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born” by Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, Andrew Wyatt and Benjamin Rice. It should be “When A Cowboy Trades His Spurs For Wings” from “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs” by David Rawlings and Gillian Welch.
I have to agree. I didn't last more than 30 minutes with it.I really didn’t enjoy Black Panther mind and I love Marvel in general. The cynic in me thinks it’s been nominated and won as a bit of a box ticking excersise.
It was f***ing shite. I’m still baffled by the widespread praise it received.I really didn’t enjoy Black Panther mind and I love Marvel in general. The cynic in me thinks it’s been nominated and won as a bit of a box ticking excersise.
Agreed. Mind, I recorded the Oscars, sat down to watch and the sodding thing ended just as she got up to speak. Had to watch it on you tube. The only bit I really wanted to see.just seen Olivia's acceptance speech....that was absolutely superb
I have to agree. I didn't last more than 30 minutes with it.
Also - can't help feeling sad for Richard E Grant.
Was she still acting while she was up there. Faux gushing. The yanks love that.just seen Olivia's acceptance speech....that was absolutely superb
Get away. If you've seen any of her acceptance speeches over the years from Bafta onwards she is always brilliant, always genuine. Was she still acting while she was up there. Faux gushing. The yanks love that.
Found it embarrassing to be honest
She could be 'acting' of courseGet away. If you've seen any of her acceptance speeches over the years from Bafta onwards she is always brilliant, always genuine.
Well aren't we all in some sense? She could be 'acting' of course
Not Oscar worthy thoughWell aren't we all in some sense?
I am. On a daily basis! Not Oscar worthy though
I am. On a daily basis!
Pretty clear statement I thought. Not sure how I can rephrase.
