Humans are so stupid man... we are all the same!
At the match? No it didnt2009 the last time I heard it. Went on for ages after Cisse give us the lead at SJP in the 1-1 game
I was at the cricket on Sunday and never saw one Mag badge. A lot of SAFC shirts and hats and 4 blokes behind me were talking about how good Saturday has been, us winning and Mags getting beat.
I had a walk around the ground at lunch interval and thought I’d look at different viewpoints from other seats. At one place, one bloke was talking to his mates then saw someone else and asked if he’d enjoyed the football on Saturday. They all had a good laugh and agreed they had.

Give over we were singing it at away days in the 2000s.Won’t doubt that you heard it (I was there too and didn’t) but that surprises me. In my mind it literally stopped in 97 when we moved grounds, like booing Kasey Keller and ‘come on you Reds’ at a corner.

We’ll have done tons of the same games and I can’t remember it during the SOL era. I could be wrong though.
Bring back the days we never won so didnt have to hear it!!Can’t believe we have yet another thread on this. The 4th in as many months maybe?
It clearly divides opinion. Nobody is going to change theirs. The Durham players have been singing it for many years (since minor counties days according to some). They aren’t going to stop singing it now. It’s up on the home dressing room wall apparently.
So nothing is going to change. The argument has become tedious and is utterly pointless.
Can we talk about something else please?

Name change incoming?Bring back Franklin
Nope. But even though you think we did, you do know changing the words to it gives the song a different slant, don't you?Sang it many times, no problem with it mind canny enough song but it was a very popular away day song during my time going to away games, more the early 2000s
Signatures still exist? I guess maybe the phone app doesn't show them, i keep forgetting they exist.Sig if I ever saw one.

Can't remember what my last was, had a few crackers ower the years
I was there n'all. Never heard it. Especially not going on for ages. Its not the type of song that goes on for ages. A couple of short blasts then that's it, or at least it was back in the 80's when I last heard itIt did where I was. Furthest block over near the big glass end. Was fairly loud as well

It's not used to be sung at roker park.I just found it weird Durham Cricket Club singing a Newcastle United football anthem. But hey ho. Up to them I suppose....
