Can’t believe we have yet another thread on this. The 4th in as many months maybe?
It clearly divides opinion. Nobody is going to change theirs. The Durham players have been singing it for many years (since minor counties days according to some). They aren’t going to stop singing it now. It’s up on the home dressing room wall apparently.
So nothing is going to change. The argument has become tedious and is utterly pointless.

That was a CC game though where the average age must be 55+.
The average split towards them will be massively more skewed towards the Saudis in the younger generations.
Won’t doubt that you heard it (I was there too and didn’t) but that surprises me. In my mind it literally stopped in 97 when we moved grounds, like booing Kasey Keller and ‘come on you Reds’ at a corner.

It did where I was. Furthest block over near the big glass end. Was fairly loud as well
I was there n'all. Never heard it. Especially not going on for ages. Its not the type of song that goes on for ages. A couple of short blasts then that's it, or at least it was back in the 80's when I last heard it
