The mags are claiming Durham CC now

F*cking hell, first music and now this

And importantly club captain Scott Borthwick.

Rushy has left for Warwickshire though, unfortunately.

This is my opinion of it too. There’s always been more of a red and white flavour to DCCC than black and white.

You can never simply count shirts on show I order to gauge popularity and just assume though - because as we know the mags are far more likely to wear their colours unashamedly and inappropriately in so many places that MLF’s would be much more sensibly dressed ;).

No he didn’t, they’ve been singing it long before he was captain - right back before when MLF Colly was skipper too.

It’s going nowhere thankfully and I for one hope I hear the lads singing it as many times next season as I have this season.

The only people who get upset about it are clearly very insecure about who they are and where they come from.
I’m starting a campaign to get rid of it. Absolute joke they’re singing that shite.

The same drip is crying because the athletic dare joke about their club, not really a joke as it's true

Typical durham mag behaviour isn't it?
Why are some of their fans so touchy?? seeking validation all the time and very insecure about their club, like a needy partner. Psychologically what's the deal?

Whenever they away from home they have to scream their identity from the rooftops

Not in recent times...one that has faded away....but irrelevant really. s.
why is it irrelevant?

sunderland fans sang it for years and nobody had an issue with it.

durham have been singing this song for years and suddenly a handful of non attending cricket fans are booting off about it on the internet.

i'd say it's more embarrassing sunderland fans nick a "newcastle song" and change the words.
I work Monday to Friday and play cricket On a Saturday so you’re correct I won’t be turning up. I’ll continue my online crusade to stop the mag shite however.

Ah so basically you're just a big baby booting off on a forum. Fair enough
