The Hundred Draft - Sky Sports 7pm

Love how all those whinging and complaining are still watching it. Some interesting picks mind, couldnt believe that Luke Wright had to wait till the last pick.

Special brew

I turned it off after the second pick. Whether I googled the squads tomorrow or sat and watched the draft live I would be getting the same information and 'excitement' so I opted to not waste anymore of my life.

I can see from other comments on here that it didn't really get any better.

It was more interesting than I thought but needlessly drawn out and no player list in sight. Was worth watching to see that idiot Mick Newell pretty much try and pick a full Notts side.

It’s just weird though, Jonny Bairstow playing for a Welsh county for example, it just seems messy and soulless.

The American do draft night like no other. I remember being in Florida when literally a bar was took over for a group of mates to pick there fantasy football teams it was good to watch and if it helps and gets Cricket out there over here then I'm all for it

Thought there were some strange picks.....but......it is all about opinions.
Cannot see why Livingstone went for £125,000, more expensive than some top class international 20/20 players.
Ed Byrom ???? Surely Scott Steel would have been better than him.
George Garton, apparently, did not play one 20/20 game for Sussex this summer.
AND HOW MANY KOLPAKS WERE PICKED ?
Thought this competition would help develop England white ball players !

No English coaches and players like Ravi Rampaul going for £75k. It's absolutely not going to develop domestic talent.

Ed Byrom 22yrs Zimbabwean with an Irish passport (I kid you not) 9 20/20 games, 185 runs ave 23.12 HS 54no.
Scott Steel 20 yrs British 11 20/20 games 369 runs ave 33.54 HS 70.
What is going on here ???

Incredible how many non English produced players have been selected.

Surrey finished 8th in the South T20 group.
NINE of their players were picked in the Draft.
To be fair....

burns and sam Curran are test picks, will barely play and there was little choice

Roy, Plunkett and Tom Curran were in the World Cup squad
Pope is clearly a class act, and was injured for last campaign
Foakes. Clearly one of the best keepers in the country

Dernbach is dogshit
