The Hundred 2023

No just respect what people want to watch and their choice and would not dream of lecturing or calling them names because of that choice
Round in circles we go.

You enjoy killing the professional game in the North East, those meanies whom you're taking the game from need to shut up and leave you alone!

Yeah we do.

I respect peoples choice and wish them all the best whichever cricket they want to watch whether it county cricket, test cricket or The Hundred and hope they enjoy themselves and weather keeps fair and hope they have great day whichever cricket they watch.

For example very pleased Durham doing well this season, especially the more attacking entertaining cricket they have been playing and pleased for those supporters enjoying it

Where others lecture people what to watch if they decide to watch another format , call them traitors and laugh when games called off for rain meaning them fans miss out of the game they were looking forward too.

I am more than happy with my grown up mature view on the subject.

Righto.

As I keep saying, I'm pleased to hear you're enjoying killing professional cricket in the region. People need to stop getting on their high horse about the future of the sport and accept it's over. Too much negativity.

You right mate we going round in circles.

I would rather as I said firstly people just enjoy whatever cricket they want to watch and respect that view.

If you see little old me watching a game on telly killing anything, guess I can’t and won’t change that ridiculous view.

Done with this now as the second innings just about to start and have a bet on Oval invincibles to win this tournament.

So I am going to try enjoy this second innings and try not to feel guilty for apparently destroying the game I have either played or watched for the last 50 years.

Grrrrrr

after what I’ve just watched I think it’s better I sign out without blowing a gasket about the 100

And I'm looking forward to Tuesday when a Durham side robbed of most of its first XI, play in the format that had the entire nation gripped 4 years ago, but then was killed off to advertise some crisps.

Each to their own.

T v audiences. Test cricket the ashes 17 million.

Hundred so far 6 million.

T20 150, 000

County cricket 23000.

One day cup 14000.

So yes hundred will smash the ashes for viewers.

Figures from sky and YouTube as of Friday.

Well that's a completely fair comparison if ever I've seen one.

Long live The Hundred.
