The end of todays game

I was sat with two Villa fans (both top blokes), when we equalised I got them a pint and said, ‘I’ll take that’, both were complementary when they scored, I tried to take pints back 🤷‍♂️
*complimentary... paying compliments, or at no charge vs complementary which is when something goes well with something else

Honestly didnt get the bad feeling, was just chuffed they made a real go of it. Funnily enough that Millwall game was it's fault, I got hammered for saying it at the time.

Getting beat off Port Vale was an embarrassment.

This was far from it.

All past of a wonderful season that few expected to be such a fun ride.

Take it all in.

I'm still on the train home and it's the least upset I've ever been about a defeat.

Funny the different way people react

I thought it was a class game, and the fact that we were within a fanny hair of winning makes me happy .

I've seen us lose away at Cheltenham, Shrewsbury, Wycombe , Lincoln... I'm not gonna give a shit about this result
Well said, just got off the train going the opposite direction to yourself thanks to Cross Country cancellation but follow the lads home and away. Was thinking today when the train from New Street was headed to Walsall how the game at Villa was a million miles from L1 and when Max Power was sent off at Walsall. The journey has had its bumps but there is no shame with a defeat at Villa especially with the performance the lads put in. I missed the shitshow at Bolton as I was incapacitated but experienced Cheltenham, Rotherham, Gillingham and the double Wembley disappointment against Portsmouth & Charlton. Today just does not register with that level
Of disappointment.

Flashbacks to Millwall away under Mowbray but on a worse scale. About to win it to then lose it.

Worst feeling after a game since Luton 3 years ago at least.

Maybe not as bad. But I do agree how anyone can take plus points from a defeat is clearly a mag. Defeats are not meant to make you upbeat and positive. They are meant to make you feel horrible. So I think every single loss has made me feel awful. It’s just the scale of the pain.
I’m gutted but we move on and beat Forest

The sane Nottingham Forest who has just beat Burnley 4-1?

Its my least upsetting defeat of the season. We scored 3 goals against a top 3 team who are almost certain to be in the CL next season.

If you are upset at that result, sit back and take stock of where we are against every prediction made.

So because Forest beat Burnley they are gonna beat us?

Give owa.

It's gonna be 6 - 0 on Friday night. Our best home game of the season.
