The end of todays game

I'm still on the train home and it's the least upset I've ever been about a defeat.

Funny the different way people react

I thought it was a class game, and the fact that we were within a fanny hair of winning makes me happy .

I've seen us lose away at Cheltenham, Shrewsbury, Wycombe , Lincoln... I'm not gonna give a shit about this result

Can’t compare the two man. Gutting to lose the way we did but Villa are a soon to be champions league team. They will probably win the Europa league this season. They played us off the park second half and they thought the game was over bringing off Watkins and Mcginn and it nearly backfired but as gutted as i was at the time it soon passed

Oh come on, we have had WAY worse days than this

Losing to 10 man Shrewsbury
'The King' scoring a hat trick for Lincoln at the SOL

This was a brilliant game and we are competing against teams in European semis
Never said we haven't had worse days  just that it felt like a big kick ij the bolloxks and the games you mentioned are more than 3 years ago.

Of course i felt worse after them ffs
I don’t think it feels anywhere near either of those like. We’ve played the best Villa side for 30 years and arguably should’ve beaten them.
Nah its more the fact that one action away from potentially sitting 6th with 3 home games in our last 5.

That one attack has dropped us to 11th.
Get a beer, or a glass of wine, chill and stop being so constantly angry.

Eh? Who is angry? I'm just gutted because we were a 1 on 1 away from 6th.

I get what you mean mate, but in the grand scheme of things this weekend hasn’t done us too much harm. I expected to lose today just not quite how we did. We will of course look back at the Diarra miss and feel sick but it’s the PL, games are won and lost on such fine margins

I said last night that even a defeat has us still in the chase because of the other results. But to go from Diarra 1 on 1 with 6th in your grasp to then 11th. Its a sickener

I was upset at full time and for about 30 minutes after, but as I sit on the bus home I think to myself we're coming towards the end of April and we're still in the mix for Europe. Friday night is huge now in terms of that
