Lucky (and old enough) to see us in Europe in 74. Tears in my eyes at full time today, and looking around, I wasn't alone.
 

Absolutely unbelievable!
My mind still wonders to that villa game and Diarra slots that chance away……Isidor smashes that away vs Liverpool…blows my mind that we were fine margins away from champions league.

Just the fight we have shown all season even games we have lost we gave ourselves a chance…f***ing hell even the games that seemed abit of spanking on paper like the Man City/Arsenal games I thought we matched them in soo many ways.
 
I thought I was the only one crying today, obviously not! What a season man. I'm 71 this Sept, my dad took me to my first game when I was 9. I was hooked from that day. I remember after I married, the husband told me we didn't have the money for me to keep my season card and I'd have to stop going. I started to go to the town every Saturday, even if I didn't need anything. As far as he was concerned I was out shopping. I snuck the ticket money out of the housekeeping and managed to take the boys with me when they were born because he wouldn't look after them. To this day he still has no idea I went to the match every week. I divorced him eventually :lol: Don't know why I said that. Anyway... what a freaking season this has been. Europe man. Who'd a thought it!!
 
My 1st match was in 62/3 season. Once I processed that today was really real, Ive been thinking about those who took me to Roker Park back in those days - me dad & me granda. Also my old nana who lived opposite the Fulwell end & loved the club. Her life revolved around home games.

Been wishing I cd tell them all about this last year in SAFC history. What an unbelievable, astounding year! Surely the greatest in club history ...?
They'd have found it hard to believe but I know they'd have been over the moon & shed tears too.
Also been thinking about some of posters on here who are no longer with us. To me, this achievement is for all the supporters today & those who've gone thru the turnstiles before me.

Finally, latest feeling is about justice & how funny it can be when chickens come home to roost.... Sheeeera on MOTD tonight.... can't wait... Will be crying again 😂
