The Cure.

loved the early Cure. Boy’s Don’t Cry etc.I had their first three albums.Saw them quite a few times early to mid 80’s. Head on the Door and Disintegration were also good albums. Smith just looks a mess these days.

The Cure are, in my opinion, one of the greatest bands of all time. Their best songs are not the big hits. Disintegration is one of my favourite albums. It’s a masterpiece.
The Top was under rated still listen to that a fair bit

Whitley Bay ice rink Head On The Door Tour 1985. I was there 👍
Brilliant that….not often if at all they play “ The baby screams” live nowadays

Whenever I see the thread "What was the last album you listened to in order" or whatever its called it reminds me to play Disintergration.

It was a landmark album in my view as it made the band everything Robert was trying to avoid. A stadium rock band. People thnk it's a depressing listen but there is hope their and all because the daft knacker lost his mind fretting about turning 30!

Nobody I know thinks of it as a depressing listen. If I heard that I’d put any of the “ gloom trilogy” on for them.

Pornography, Faith or Seventeen Seconds
