I think I read that statistically there's more celebs than regular folk now so it's easier for them to find contestants that way.

I thought it got immeasurably better from the moment Spence got locked in until the moment he came mincing back onto the screen.

Get some regular contestants on and dedicate a bit less time to ad breaks and it might be closer to the old series.

Same here, heard they were redoing crystal maze and thought "might be canny", put me off the whole idea as soon as they said the first one would be a "celebrity" special
