Class pub, sometimes the beer is a bit shit but the jukey and the barmaids make up for that. I've heard they're starting to put gigs on upstairs again? Criminally underused venue that one.

Mid 80s to late 90s was its best period,good crowd ,bit of a 8 o clock meeting place that some nights you just stayed in.Cosy gig in the corner which i've done a few times.Find the service a bit random now,went in for a gig upstairs and it was chocker upstairs and down and they had no bar staff on.Surely they can gauge busy times ?
