And he’s getting it and needs to show improvement. Yesterday he didn’t.

Allardyce was very good for us. He gets high praise because he came in with us struggling (9th October he took over) and, from January, lost only 4 games out of 19, getting us 27 points. We were easily top ten on form from January onwards. That was a huge turnaround from what came before and, ultimately, what was to follow. He came in, assessed the situation, did well in the transfer window, made us hard to beat, got us wins against Everton, man United and Chelsea and kept us up. It's not really surprising that, especially bearing in mind what was to follow with Moyes, he's seen as something of a star!

Sheer poison a lot of your mob though arent you. Throw a hysterical tantrum everytime you dont win a game. Boo teams off even if they win if they haven’t been playing attractive football, pelting OAP owners with coins (but its okay because they are now back in favour judging by twitter).
 
I hate the booing of our own team but if Donald et all want to keep high gates and deliver revenues, in fact grow their investment, they have to see that people are not being entertained and the team are not moving forwards. They are the ones who need to ensure the business has the best leaders and adjust if necessary.

He knows his team and system , hence why he’s played the same system all pre season. The only thing they lacked yesterday is the composure to pick the right pass in the final 3rd

To be fair you don’t have to have many booing for it to appear as though loads are doing it, there were many who actually applauded them off.
It is frustration though, and people are right this is basically a continuation of last season, another unconvincing 1-1 draw against opposition we feel we should be beating.
Frustration is always lurking just below the surface at Sunderland. It’s basically a result of the constant underachievement over the last 60 years since the first relegation.
Whether an old fan, middle aged or a young un, you only know failure and mediocrity.

I can fully understand the frustration the fans are feeling.
It just seemed like nothing much has changed from the second half of last season.
The defence looked disorganised, there was little, or no creativity from the midfield, we were toothless in attack, and when we did manage to get forward down the wings, too many crosses were overhit, and sailed straight out of play, and into the fans in the South Stand.
Hume was run ragged, and looked dizzy at half time, and once again, too many high balls were lumped up in the direction of Grigg's head, and some of our players struggled to accurately, pass the ball to a colleague.
I remember us having only one half decent effort in the first half, a shot from outside the box which the keeper pushed away.
Oxford looked far brighter and played some decent stuff in the first half, and could consider themselves unlucky not to be three goals up by half time.
Ross, may well come up with a formula, that will see performances and results improve, though the worrying signs are, that he doesn't seem to be able to motivate his team, nor inspire them.

Mate we drew 1 -1 with Oxford at home. It was pretty dire.
However it is a continuation from last season and I dont think Ross has a scooby.
Donald will get trigger happy soon and sack him if these draws continue. Had we of been promoted, Donald would have got his extra investment and because we bottled another game we got beat by Charlton losing suitors which would have annoyed him
Ross needs to get a team together and stick with it but I agree with posts, I still dont think he knows his best team or formation

The owners never said we aren’t going to draw a single game !! If in the next 10 games or so we have drawn a load more he will be under pressure. They weren’t great yesterday but they were certainly trying to win the game
