To anyone who wants to get promoted. To go up in a 46 game season you need at least 80 points. 22 draws leaves you needing 58 points from 24 games. That’s 20 wins from 24. Only 4 defeats. And 80 points is closer to the bottom end of the likely points range needed - and wasn’t near enough last season for instance.

Do you really think we should be happy not getting promoted from this division?

Top 2 in this league regularly get 90+over the past 10 years

didnt say that. In seasons you have ruts where you get runs of draws etc. We came very close to getting enough to go up. Very close. In other seasons wed have been fine. I think Ross has earned another crack at it.

Its early days, and I wasnt at the match, but my view has always been....

If the team plays shit and is outclassed at home by a team we should beat, the fans have a right to boo.

But in recent times watching Sunderland I have seen us play well, or been unlucky and still get booed.

As i said I said I wasnt there but the stats suggest we were the better team. If thats the case and we drew, booing is bang out of order. Happy to be corrected

Fans have a right to vent their anger, We should be pissing this league yet we get ANOTHER f***ing draw!

If we are not top or at least 2nd going into October id chase this barmy fucka, draws are no good to no tnuc!

We weren’t really that close though were we? We were out of the picture with 2 games left to play and were closer than we should have been due to other teams bottling it at the end of the season and having poor runs. It’s nigh on impossible to go up with 22 draws

We got very close mate. Just fluffed our lines right in the last few key games. An odd one more poor result from Barnsley or Coventry not smashing everything in sight in the net in that game and we would probably have made it.

Not acceptable because we have the best facilities and the biggest budget. There's nothing to laugh about. We should be getting promoted. Ross failed miserably.

We were shite from January onwards. It was hardly a rut and totally fell apart in the last few league games.
