The booing at full time

Oh and another thing, you guys think West Ham are some kind of arrogant muppets for moaning about Sam Allardyce in the Championship, but our experience with him directly reflects yours with Jack Ross last season.

Most expensive squad is the league? Check
Best supported club in the league? Check
Most money spent? Check

Plus unlike Sunderland the Hammers still had the vast majority of the team that got relegated.

Disappointing season given the resources available and just scrapping the playoffs? Check

Only difference is Allardyce got lucky in the playoff final and Ross didn't.

But OK, West Ham are fickle for booing the fat bung taker.

That performance was the only shameful thing that happened today

It needs to continue to pressure Donald into sacking the clown. Should be accompanied by chants of “sacked in the morning” et al.
Ross is living on borrowed time based on the performances at the back end of last season and so far this season, the pressure on him will only grow if we do not improve in the next 3-5 games

Nothing at all suggests we’ll get better. Ross has had 60 games now and doesn’t know his team and doesn’t know his system. Every single game we play we get worse and worse under him. Every player he signs is worse than the one he replaces. What players need to gel? There haven’t been many changes to the 11, especially in forward areas.
5 new starters wasn’t there? Half the outfield players? I understand it’s disappointing but outright lies just don’t help like.

1 new starter in the forward areas. They’ve had plenty of time to gel and it’s failed miserably over the last 12 months quite honestly. Ross is ana absolute joke and needs to sling his hook immediately or we are looking at a third year of this shit league

Reality is a large section of our fans have become just as bad as the winging and entitled mags we laugh at so much.

We are a league one side. I don’t think people realise just how close we were to disappearing completely. We are one of the biggest rebuilding jobs currently taking place in British football.

If you genuinely thought we would go through two successive, horrendous relegations and then suddenly trounce league one then you’re an idiot tbh. Reality is our club came so close to destruction we should be glad we are challenging for promotion at all.

Your circumstances?

Having to get rid of players not good enough/not putting in enough effort before you could put a squad together isn't the best start. Bringing in players last secind before the season starts leaving no time to gel or get used to hiw each other play isn't the best either.

We’re the biggest side in this league and should have got promoted last year - it’s not even just us as supporters who think like that. Punditry, other fans etc. all tipping us to go up.

Well deserved booing, we had no urgency to go for the win. I put that down to the manager’s motivating of the players and the system. The manager is the problem and has been for a while now.

West Ham fans are fickle because we didn't like the Sunderland favourite "big fat sam" and booed him? The only manager in my 25ish years of holding a ST that I can recall being booed by us. He was shocking as a manager for us and hardly any better for you.

Sunderland fans seem to think he saved you from relegation, now I'm not looking up the stats cause frankly can't be arsed, but didn't he manage you for over three quarters of the season and keep you up by two points or something? Wow what a star!

Allardyce was a class manager for us mind, had us playing good attacking football and we were very hard to beat after the 1 transfer window he had. Not saying you're wrong about his time at West Ham like.

Well you can say it needs to stop but you can't tell other people what to do, they pay their money, they turn up if they want to boo they can boo. If they want to leave before the whistle goes, they can leave before the whistle goes simple as that.

I don't disagree. You have the biggest support at this level. Biggest club? How does that help? Yes you willbeable to get some players to sign because of what could happen. But the most title wins over 100 years ago doesn't help the players on the pitch.

Yes I expected you to win yesterday. But your players are not miles better than those at all the other clubs. Effort counts for as much as anything else at this level. From what I read on here you was lucky to get a point with a dubious penalty yesterday. How can this correspond with walking this division?
Not arsed if people ‘boo’ they pay their money and can vent however they like.

Dunno why people get so wound up about it.
Does it help the confidence of your players?

Booing man, it's what 5 year olds do at the panto.

Agree with that mind, I find it a very weird, forced sound for an adult to make so I've never done it. That being said if people are going to boo I'd rather it was at the end of the game, thought the lads on the pitch got decent support throughout. A bit frustration at the end but it's fairly understandable
